Account & Billing

Devaiy uses a credit-based model. Each AI message you send spends credits. Free users get a daily allocation; paid plans get monthly allocations with the option to top up.

Plans

  • Free — 3 credits per day, refreshed every 24 hours. Read-only access to the file editor. Good for trying out Devaiy and small projects.
  • Starter — 20 credits per month. File editing and access to the Pro AI tier unlocked.
  • Pro — 100 credits per month. Same features as Starter, with a larger monthly credit allocation for heavier use.

What is a credit?

Credits are Devaiy’s usage unit. A short conversation turn (small edit, quick question) might cost 1–5 credits. A larger feature build can be 10–50. The exact cost depends on:

  • Which AI tier you’re using. Pro is more capable and costs more per turn than Lite.
  • How much code the AI reads and writes. Larger projects require loading more context per turn.

Running out of credits

You can check your remaining balance any time under Workspace → Usage & Credits. When you hit zero, sending new messages is blocked until your plan resets or you top up.

  • Free users wait until their daily reset (every 24 hours from the last reset).
  • Paid users can wait until the next monthly cycle OR top up immediately from the Usage & Billing page.

Top-ups

Paid users can buy credit packs without changing plans. From Workspace → Usage & Billing, choose a small or large top-up. Top-up credits are added on top of your monthly allocation, but they expire at the end of the current billing period — use them before the cycle ends.

Upgrading or downgrading

Upgrade anytime from /pricing or the Upgrade button in your workspace. The new plan’s credit allocation kicks in immediately.

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you keep your current plan’s features until then.

Cancelling your subscription

From Workspace → Usage & Billing, click Cancel subscription. You’ll see a confirmation modal. After confirming:

  • Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period.
  • You’re not charged again.
  • At the end of the period, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan — your projects all stay in place, you just go back to the daily credit allocation.

Payment methods

Devaiy uses Razorpay as the payment processor. We accept credit/debit cards, UPI (India), net banking, and other regional methods depending on your country. Prices are shown in USD or INR depending on your selection.

Invoices and receipts

You will receive a payment receipt after each successful charge (subscription renewal or top-up). The Usage & Billing page on your Workspace also shows recent billing history with status and amounts.

Refunds

All fees are non-refundable, in line with our Terms. If you spot a discrepancy — a duplicate charge, a payment error, or anything that doesn’t look right — reach out via contact and we’ll look into it.
